Inclusion Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
To be included in QualityTools, sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
(AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, a tool must meet the following requirements:
- The tool must specifically address health care and be intended for use in the assessment,
measurement, promotion and/or improvement of health care quality.
- The tool must be freely available (i.e., without a fee or charge) in electronic format via the
Internet. Abstracts and/or summaries of tools available electronically will be included.
When available, ordering information for obtaining the tool in its entirety will be provided.
- The tool must be developed and/or sponsored by an identifiable agency, organization, or committee.
- The tool must be intended for use by one or more of the following user groups:
- Patients and Consumers
- Payers and Purchasers
- Policymakers
- Providers
Note: Tools derived from a clinical practice guideline will be considered for
inclusion if documented evidence is available verifying the guideline was
developed, reviewed, or revised within the last five years.
